We come together on a weekly basis to work and play with a variety clays, be inspired, discuss, problem-solve, and contribute in financial and everyday ways to the functioning of the club. We are a community group with a keen interest in all aspects of pottery.  Beginners very much welcome, come on in and we will get you started. 

Every Wednesday 9:00am - 2:00pm and the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the the Month.

Pioneer Potters Mackay Inc was formed in 1975 by a small group of potters who’s aim was to have a working studio and meeting place for aspiring ceramicists to meet, create and grow. After more than 35 years, it’s still an active voluntary club, and as well as make pottery, we source clay, glaze materials and tools, mix glazes, conduct sometimes weekly gas & electric kiln firings, fundraise, hold market stalls and organise social events and workshops for members.
